I love the rain and web...

...like I love being hit in the face with a baseball bat. Rain has killed us a little this week. We really love cancellations and reschedules. I wish we could do that daily! Thank you cold front.

I also love when I have "intermediate outages" of my internet connection since last Friday. It wasn't a big deal until we had to get all the games loaded...sorry about the delay in the last three from Godley...what to do?

Okay, since Hurricane Ike is on its way into Texas, we are preparing to bring out the rain gear! Should be fun times!!! Krystal and I are splitting up a little again. We have to catch a few of these teams on the road, so we are heading back to Cleburne and Weatherford, but adding some temporary stops along the way.

Krystal will be with the newly named Cleburne High School Homecoming Queen Nominee Autumn (be sure to tell her CONGRATS on the nomination!!!) They are heading to Weatherford to see:

She's about as creative as they get, and I'm very excited about seeing her all over this weekend (she will end up in all four locations!) Chad will be in Rio Vista and Cleburne!

*** This week's Krystal Image Sports Game of the Week is none other than the Minor game of Aledo 4 v Weatherford 4.

Weatherford 4 upset a good Aledo 2 team in week one and flew by Alvarado 1 in week 2. While they've allowed only 14 points this season (Aledo 2), they've managed to score a whapping 48 in the two games. Scoring could be a big challenge against a very strong defensive unit for Aledo 4 this week. Aledo 4 has shut the doors on both Joshua 2 and Midlothian 1 in the first two weeks, recording a shutout in each, and putting up 44 points themselves. If I remember correctly, this may be a rematch of last year's 3rd and 4th place game, of which Aledo won 8-0. Look for more hits than offense in this one. Both teams will bring it. I'll let Guru Ray make the pick against his spread...his picks are more scientific than mine.
Look to see these two teams battle it out later this season in the playoffs.
