Here we go!

After a few days of photo days behind us, we are so happy to see everyone and see those kids working hard in practices...why are the working so hard??? Whatever...the games are here. I think everyone is ready to roll. All the coaches I've talked to feel pretty good about their chances, all the parents are ready to root for something other than a practice. All the kids are ready to put the game jerseys on. It is time.

This season, we are going to do the best we can to cover as many games as we can. Keep in mind, that Krystal and I are a "husband/wife" team...well, a wife/husband team, or whatever. The goal has been for us to do this together, and we've been very fortunate thusfar, and only argue about the hours we keep. For me, the more games the better...for her, she wants a life too on Saturday night. So, this season, we are are going to do both. After looking at the overall schedule, please keep in mind that we have different things that we feel need make happen. We've always believed in taking care of those that have taken care of us....AND try to make everyone happy in the process. Yes, an impossible task. That being said, we won't be able to attend every field this year. Some because of contracts with others, some because we run out of time, some because we have other things scheduled on particular days. If we don't "hit you" at a home game, we may hit you on the road. Believe it or not, there was a team a copule of years ago we saw 5 times without ever visiting their home field.

By all means, if you see us and you are interested in photos of your player/cheerleader, interested in a poster, blanket, or whatever...YELL AT US! We'll get the jersey number and make sure we get what we can. Hopefully, someone will be with us to help us pass out the new "materials" and get numbers. Hopefully, we'll be fast and awesome...and with the new products, obviously I think we will be. But remember, we will always appreciate you...the parent, the coach, the grandparent, the volunteer, and best fans in the world. This IS Texas Football. And we know that you have choices when it comes to your photos. We SINCERELY THANK YOU for your business. You have truly blessed us.

Now, this is one of the few weeks you will see Krystal and I apart (you may see it a couple of more times, and then all bets are off on the playoffs...haven't heard about Super Bowl yet, just an FYI. Talk to the Whitney board for that if you have questions! LOL!)

Bantam - Alvarado 2 v Cleburne 1 2pm
Major - Granbury 2 v Cleburne 1 3:30pm
Bantam - Aledo 1 v Cleburne 2 5pm
Minor - Aledo 3 v Cleburne 1 6:30pm
Major - Granbury 4 v Cleburne 3 8pm

That means I get to head out in the morning to Weatherford and catch her later...

Minor - Joshua 3 v Weatherford 1 9:00am
Minor - Aledo 2 v Weatherford 4 10:30am
Minor - Burleson 3 v Weatherford 2 12pm
Major - Cleburne 2 v Weatherford 3 1:30pm
Major - Midlothian 2 v Weatherford 2 3pm


Its a good 10 games to start the season! Good luck to everyone. Oh, and for those that are headed to Cleburne, be sure you pass by our studio! Don't stop, because we will obviously be on location...BUT...here's the map if you want to have your eyes peeled for it.
