Cheers from "God's Country"

After an unbelievable plane ride that put us in London about 7:30am, we've had a great time. A few things for thought that happen here that you may NOT know...

Daylight...5am - sundown 9:45pm...

Cars - very small and very fast...well, at least there is no speed limit.

Bicylces - everywhere...

Motorcycles - cheat death and pass busses within a matter of inches.

Crosswalks - tell you which way to look...maybe too many Americans were getting hit by cars.

Exchange rate - sux! everything is double the cost if you put it back in American Dollars. Ever paid $8.50 for a quarterpounder with cheese?

Speaking of, lots of AMERICAN food here. Not much on the 'local quisine' because every corner still has a starbucks and there are lots of McDonalds and Subways. However, everyone walks, jogs or rides a bike here...so they stay thin.

Lots of history and lots to see...here's
a few samples!!!

Here is the Rock...yeah...looks just like him...but um...if he sweats anymore he'll melt. Seriously.

Here is a bus we saw today...it reminded us of someone we knew...we miss you, kid!

This is Juleus Ceasar's head. I thought they stabbed him in the back, but maybe I was wrong. And Marie Antionette looked better played by Kirsten Dunst. Not real pretty...
